It’s time to go “All in for Otters!”
Our Ordway community is coming together to support our school, staff and students! With your support, the Ordway PTO works year-round to fund school-wide and individual classroom needs. Your contributions are particularly important this year to help us support materials, supplies, and enrichment requests for staff and students.
WHAT IS “ALL IN FOR OTTERS?”
All in for Otters is our annual fundraising campaign that supports students, teachers, classrooms and school-wide initiatives. Our goal is to raise $65,000 (an average of donation of $250 per student will help us meet our target!).

WHY IT MATTERS:
Ordway needs our support! Your Ordway PTO raises funds and delivers programming to close the gap between the funding from the BISD budget and Ordway teacher and student needs.
Teachers need our support! Teachers use Ordway PTO funds for classroom materials, supplies, curriculum, and online teaching tools.
Students need our support! Your student directly benefits from Ordway PTO-funded curriculum, online subscriptions, and materials.
HOW ARE FUNDS DIRECTED?
ORDWAY PTO EXPENSES 2022-2023:
- Staff Support ($36,800):
Staff appreciation, outdoor education grants, individual and grade-level teacher grants - Classroom & After School Enrichment ($17,200):
After school programs, assemblies, classroom materials & field trips - School Enrichment ($5,900):
Playground equipment, campus beautification, online subscriptions & office supplies - Operating Expenses ($2,500):
General administrative expenses, PTOCC dues & insurance
IS THERE A SUGGESTED DONATION?
The suggested donation is $250+ per Ordway student, however we know that finances look different for every family. Your gift – of any amount! – helps us meet our goals.

HOW DO I DONATE?
Start by visiting chuffed.org/project/allinforotters/signup
Make a donation & invite your friends and family to contribute to the campaign! You’ll enter a few quick details to create a page to share with others via email or social media, or simply make your own donation. Don’t forget to join your grade-level team and take part in our friendly fundraising competition! All funds raised through individual fundraisers directly support our overall fundraising goal.
Note: Chuffed.org automatically applies an optional “tip” to your total. To opt out, select “other” from the drop-down menu and enter $0 for the amount.
You may also donate via check made out to Ordway PTO, mailed to school or dropped off to the main office.
HOW ELSE CAN I GO ALL IN FOR OTTERS?
Help us meet our goal of 100% family participation as we go All in for Otters! In addition to our fundraising campaign, we’re encouraging you to take part in our community-wide commitment to completing random acts of kindness throughout our campaign! Use the attached ideas to jumpstart your month of community kindness, or make up your own!
ARE THERE ANY FUN INCENTIVES THIS YEAR?
It wouldn’t be a FUNdraiser without some extra fun prizes! All families that donate and/or complete their Otter Acts of Kindness worksheet will receive an All in for Otters magnet and be entered to win the exciting honor of giving morning announcements! We’ll also have weekly drawings for prizes from local businesses, end-of-campaign grand prize drawings for various levels of fundraising support, and – if we meet our goal! – a school wide party to celebrate.
WE’RE AN EL VELERO FAMILY; SHOULD WE STILL DONATE?
Yes! The Ordway PTO supports all students and classrooms, including El Velero. We encourage you to donate as much as you are comfortable giving to this fundraiser. In addition, El Velero is collecting additional donations (suggested $50/student) to offset the cost of program-specific special events and initiatives. DO YOU ACCEPT MATCHING FUNDS?
Absolutely! If your employer will match your donation, it’s a great chance to double your impact! Please submit proof of your donation directly to your company and either send us an email or return the attached donation card to let us know to expect a match.
