Volunteer for x̌alilc (Halilts) PTO
Do what you can, when you can. Brighten your student’s day by volunteering at PTO sponsored and supported activities and events throughout the year. There is a wide range of options to lend your time and expertise. Science fair judge, yearbook photographer, popcorn Fridays, recess activity planning to name just a few! School-based or home, one time a year or weekly opportunities are available to fit your schedule. Here are some current opportunities:
- Yearbook Photos: Help us capture all the great experiences that happen throughout the year at x̌alilc (Halilts) by taking a few yearbook photos! Your children will love to see all the fun moments you’ve taken in the yearbook they cherish!
- Monthly Recess Activities: Have a special talent or interest? Take a lead on planning out a fun alternative recess activity in the spring or just sign up to help out.
- Popcorn Fridays: Grab a spot in this coveted role – the kids love the popcorn volunteers at recess!

Please know, before volunteering in any capacity individuals must first be cleared by the Bainbridge Island School District. This process can take up to two weeks and needs to be renewed every two years. Please following the steps at the BISD volunteer page to be an active volunteer and join us in amazing volunteer opportunities with the students!
