Do what you can, when you can. Brighten your student’s day by volunteering at PTO sponsored and supported activities and events throughout the year.
There is a wide range of options to lend your time and expertise: school-based or home, one time a year or weekly opportunities are available to fit your schedule.
We are grateful and proud of the number of volunteer hours generously contributed every year. This is what makes x̌alilc (Halilts) such a wonderful community and an amazing educational experience for our children!
Get Cleared to Volunteer
All volunteers must first be cleared by the school district.
The good news is the application process is 100% online for elementary school, and pretty quick. We recommend doing this on a computer, not your phone.
The bad news is that it can take up to two weeks for your application to be processed. Don’t wait until you want to sign up for something to complete your application! Take care of this piece ASAP so you’re ready to jump in.
